The Dana Burkdoll Scholarship supports students who demonstrate initiative, problem-solving ability, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Applications are open to students across the United States who are committed to building meaningful paths in their academic and professional careers.

To be considered, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled (full-time or part-time) at an accredited college, university, trade school, or graduate program
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application
- Be a U.S. resident or citizen
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, or relevant experience

Applicants must submit an original essay (500–700 words) responding to the following prompt:
Describe a time you identified a problem and took initiative to create a solution. What was your approach, and what did you learn from the experience?
